Blankets

The phrase 'you get what you pay for' applies more to blankets than anything else in our shop. Really good blankets use masses of wool and yarn and we are proud to say that ours are quite expensive!

Before Europe brought us the duvet, good blankets were handed down from one generation to the next. Ours could certainly be described as having an 'heirloom' quality in that when well cared for they will see your grandchildren out.

Currently we have pure Shetland blankets in pale or dark stripes and a Jacob and mohair blend with herringbone stripes. They come in double, single and baby sizes.

We also have a limited number of pure organic white wool plain blankets. These are soft and fluffy and woven with wool from lambs and young sheep. They are made to a maximum width of 130 cm (54 inches), but can be made in baby and knee blanket sizes. To buy our blankets, please click here.
