Scarves

As scarves generally are worn round the neck and are next to the skin, we've chosen really soft fibre. The two most popular are Shetland and Jacob with mohair of which come in natural colours.

Our alpaca scarves are more 'dressy' and go well with winter coats; those made from Shetland are more cuddly and casual.

Although each product is 200 cm long (78 inches), some come in two widths, 18 cm (7 inches) or 25 cm (10 inches). The Shetland scarves have an eyelash fringe; the others have twisted fringes.

Worn regularly and in bad weather, scarves endure some heavy treatment, but they can all be hand-washed with care or machine washed with even more care.

They can be successfully spin dried, but don't ever use a tumble drier which is likely to ruin the scarf and turn it into felt! To buy a scarf, click here.
