Most of our throws fit into this category – the main decision you need to make is of colour or pattern as all of them drape gracefully or cosily around the place. See the options for choosing in the panel on the right.

Consider the stylish pure Jacob stripes or the wide range of shadow stripes in either Shetland or Manx with Llanwenog. You can also look at plains in Grey Mix or Texel and checks like Gotland or Manx with Llanwenog and Hebridean or the traditional monochrome of dark background with white checks in Balwen and Lleyn.

Generously sized at 138 cm (54 inches) wide by 200 cm (78 inches) long, with twisted fringes, all come in natural colours. At this size, they will easily cover a chair and you could consider a cushion to match or contrast and complete the look. Another option is to drape across the end of the bed, as a stylish accessory to use if chilly.
